What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text records a website asks a browser to retain. Similar local storage can remember a preference without sending it on every page request. We use these mechanisms sparingly.
Storage used on this site
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
systemPorthub_cookie_choice | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies | Until manually cleared | System Porthub |
sp_analytics | Measures aggregated page visits only when analytics is enabled and accepted | 13 months | System Porthub |
The preference record is essential because it prevents the banner from reappearing. Rejecting optional analytics does not block pages, forms, or training information. At present, no advertising cookie is used.
Choice and management
The first-visit banner offers equally visible Accept and Reject controls. You can reverse the decision by clearing site data in your browser and reloading this website. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies globally or by site. Blocking the preference record may cause the banner to return, but core site functions remain available.
Third parties
Public images and web fonts may be requested from their respective hosts, which receive standard connection information such as IP address and browser headers. We do not permit those resources to set marketing cookies through this site. If optional analytics or another provider is introduced, this table and consent control will be updated before use.
